ACME University invites nominations and applications for the position of Associate
Vice President for Enrollment Management.

The Position

The Associate Vice President for Enrollment Management provides leadership and is responsible
for the supervision of the directors of the admissions, financial aid, registrar and related
TRiO grant offices. Within the goals and mission of ACME University, the Associate
Vice President establishes the University priorities for enrollment management and, in collaboration with other units of the university, develops plans for marketing, recruitment and retention. The Associate Vice President is responsible for the oversight of student records and compilation of statistical records related to enrollment, graduation, admissions, registration,
and other information pertaining to student issues. The Associate Vice President will use this
and other information in strategic planning and presentation of reports to various university
constituencies and to the ACME Chancellor’s Office; overseeing the Enrollment Management
budget; and handling personnel issues within the unit. The Associate Vice President will direct
a student-centered approach and develop effective ways to maximize customer service. The
Associate Vice President plans, organizes and implements recruitment and retention strategies
to meet university enrollment goals. The successful candidate must have a demonstrated
record of an open and collaborative management style.

Minimum Qualifications

The ideal candidate will be an experienced enrollment management professional with a demonstrated track record for providing leadership in all aspects of enrollment management,

• ten years of experience in a senior management position or in professional administrative
positions with increasing responsibilities in the areas of recruitment, retention, admissions,
records and/or financial aid
• a bachelors degree from an accredited university
• knowledge of national enrollment management issues
• demonstrated ability in long-range enrollment management planning, gathering and use of
various types of statistical data
• knowledge and management of comprehensive student data bases and student information
systems; including the implementation and upgrading of these systems
• effective leadership and team building skills
• budget management, personnel management and supervisory skills
• excellent written and oral communication skills
• knowledge of federal, state and institutional student aid programs with experience implementing
and monitoring federal and state financial aid regulations
• ability to work with faculty, staff and administrators across the university community
• demonstrated experience using institutional data, predictive modeling and marketing tools to
bring to campus diverse and highly qualified freshmen, transfer and graduate students
• demonstrated experience working with or knowledge of multicultural communities, including
experience recruiting and retaining a diverse student population

Preferred Qualifications

• Doctorate or masters degree from an accredited institution in related fields
• Experience in a four-year, baccalaureate-granting institution
• Experience in a university setting
• Experience with PeopleSoft data management system


This position is covered by the ACME University Management Personnel Plan and
